Shared, accessible sports facilities encourage physical activity, teamwork and mental well-being; they are an important preventive health intervention for the campus community.
TMU Activities & Achievements
- TMU provides state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor sports infrastructure (indoor stadium, cricket ground, football field, indoor courts, gymnasium) that is available to students across departments and for community events. The facilities support inter-college competitions, coaching, and daily student fitness programs.
 - Sports-for-health programmes: structured fitness curricula, seasonal tournaments, and student coaching that connect sport participation with health promotion.

From the cricket field to the volleyball court, TMU has consistently welcomed icons whose presence has motivated aspiring athletes and elevated the university’s standing in the sporting fraternity. In cricket, TMU has been honored by the continued association of Piyush Chawla and Mohd. Shami, who have not only played at the university but have also taken part in multiple training sessions and visited the campus on numerous occasions. Their mentorship and encouragement have been instrumental in inspiring young cricketers to pursue excellence. Adding further prestige, celebrated names such as Amit Mishra, Praveen Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Naman Ojha, Avesh Khan, and Rajat Patidar have showcased their talent at TMU, leaving a lasting imprint on its cricketing culture.

Kapil Dev, Subbarao, etc., acclaimed as international players, enriched TMU’s legacy by contributing their skills and presence to major championships held at the university.
