Private: iMac Laboratory Installation at FOE & CCSIT, TMU Campus

On the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja, an iMac computer laboratory was installed for the Animation course students. The inauguration ceremony of the lab was done by hon'ble Chancellor Shri Suresh Jain’s grandson,Akshat Jain- the third generation face of TMU. The ceremony was done under the presence of Animation and other department heads and professors like Jyotiranjan Labh, H.O.D Ashendra Saxena, Assistant director placement Vikram Raina.

Before the inauguration ceremony, Akshat Jain took a good stroll around all the laboratories inside the FOE & CCSIT building. The iMac laboratory was the newest addition to all the labs present at FOE & CCSIT campus.

After the inauguration, Akshat Jain was warmly welcomed by Principal Prof. R.K Dwivedi with a bouquet of flowers. During his brief address Akshat Jain expressed TMU’s vision to cater the demands of its students for their better future ahead. He stressed on the part that TMU strives hard to be innovative and accepting towards the changes for the betterment of the students, the world-class facilities it tries to incorporate in the means of amenities and teaching methods is what will make TMU mark it’s way to being a global university in its near future.

Apart from the vision and mission of TMU, Akshat Jain also explained how the iMac lab will be fruitful in making the animation students enabled for their career and individual enhancement also. The technology that the iMac computers provide will help the students to develop their movie editing skills to the most. This will not just upgrade their knowledge but will let them have an upper hand as they will be updated with the latest ongoing technology.

Later to the speech he also inaugurated the iMac desktop by operating it while expressing his goodwill to all the students of the course.

Principal Professor Dwivedi highlighted how Akshat Jain’s sole contribution has made it possible for the animation students to have this latest upgrade to venture out for their pivotal career. Commenting on the new generation’s new dreams, Akshat Jain represents that newness with the blend of an upgrade and hope that this newness will give TMU new heights and reach.
