The pharmacists of 21st Century are responsible for managing drug therapy,
counseling patients on proper use of medications and monitoring drug therapy
outcomes. Keeping these factors in mind, the University has established two
premier institutions of Dental and Medical Colleges in the year 2005 and 2008,
respectively.
Further, to
complement medical teaching and research, the University established the College
of Pharmacy in the campus to promote teaching and research in the field of
Pharmaceutical Science. The focus areas of the College include: providing
excellent professional education to students, continuing medical education for
practicing pharmacist and promoting innovative research.
