Guest Lecture delivered by Dr. Ira Pande Dr. Ira Pande MD, FRCP, PhD Consultant Rheumatologist, Hon. Lecturer Nottingham University Hospitals, U.K. President, Indo U.K. Rheumatology Forum delivered a guest lecturer at TMMC & RC on 6/12/2011, on “Approach to Arthritis”, to faculty & students of TMMC & RC. The lecture explored the basics of dealing with a patient of Arthritis right from symptom to diagnosis very extensively and in a very lucid manner. Her expert view helped the understanding of Arthritis and was invaluable for clinical acumen. A pioneer in research & clinical field of rheumatology, she even responded very co-operatively to various queries from the audience. She managed to brush upon the entire garnet of diverse arthritic diseases in a very informative fashion, stressing on recognizing it early and accurately. The lecture was graced by the presence of the Registrar, TMU Dr. R.K. Mudgal and Director of International Affairs, TMU, Dr. K.K Pande. The Principal TMMC & RC, Dr. U.K. Singh welcomed the guests, Dr. Jigar Haria, Asst Professor, Medicine introduced the guest speaker and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Sidhram, HOD Paediatrics at the culmination.
